Brault et Martineau is one of Quebec’s biggest retailers, offering a large selection of furniture, appliances and decor items. The company’s website, which receives a lot of traffic, converts these visits into direct-to-consumers sales. Therefore, it’s extremely important to regularly measure to website’s performance to ensure that it can handle a very high number of concurrent users. It’s with these concerns in mind that Brault et Martineau’s Technology Director tasked Askida with elaborating and executing a complete strategy to test website performance.
Askida divided this project into three separate steps: 1- Elaborate a complete custom strategy to test website performance, 2 – Create and execute the proposed test scripts and 3 – Analyse the results and then share our knowledge and the methods we’ve developed with Brault et Martineau’s team to ensure continuation.
A project like this required Askida’s expertise. For this mandate, the contract also specified quality benchmarks we had to meet at different points in time. In the end, we successfully delivered a solution on time and within budget.
